Application of protein separator in factory aquaculture

Protein separator, also known as protein skimmer, protein demister, protein remover, foam separator, etc., is a simple and effective sewage treatment device for removing macromolecular colloids in water, mainly using bubble surfaces. The principle of concentration and concentration of organic matter is to remove the organic matter suspended in the cultured sewage by means of air flotation, such as colloid, cellulose, protein, residual bait and feces. It can be said that in the marine aquaculture system, Protein separators are an integral part of the circulatory system. The core of the protein separator is gas-liquid mixture. The traditional protein separator mainly uses the monoxide tube. The gas-liquid mixing efficiency is low, and the jet tube is easy to block. It can only be used for marine aquaculture. Induced Air Flotation (THK) is a new technology invented by Hydro Cal Environmental Protection Company in the United States in 1985. It is a new mechanical airborne air flotation technology that produces more than 10 times the number of bubbles in the monk tube. Mechanism of action:


Colloids in aquaculture water: The solid particles in the closed culture system mainly come from two aspects: excrement of residual bait and fish, in addition, part of fish body exfoliation, algae, microorganisms, etc., once used in water before filtration and removal, Colloidal substances such as proteins, lipids, and sugars are formed, which cannot be removed by conventional mechanical filtration. Further decomposition produces toxic compounds such as ammonia nitrogen and nitrite, which must be quickly removed.


Principle of air flotation separation: Inside the protein separator, a large number of microbubbles are generated by the THK gas-liquid mixing pump. In the system of three-phase mixing of water, gas and grain, the interfacial tension exists on the surface of different media due to the unbalanced force. When the microbubbles are in contact with the solid suspended particles, the surface adsorption occurs due to the surface tension. Function, when the microbubbles move upwards, the water flow with the downward movement is fully mixed, and the suspended particles and colloids in the water (mainly the residual baits and excrement of the cultured organisms) adhere to the surface of the microbubbles, resulting in a density less than water. The state of buoyancy is used to move upward with the bubble and accumulate on the upper surface of the water. As the microbubbles are continuously generated, the accumulated bubbles are continuously pushed into the top collection cup and discharged. Due to the lack of electrolyte in fresh water, the polarity between organic molecules and water molecules is small, the probability of bubble formation is low, and the stability of bubbles is also poor. Therefore, ordinary air flotation separation systems are not suitable for fresh water.


THK air flotation system: Induced Air Flotation (THK) is a new mechanical air-floating air-floating technology. The generation of micro-bubbles is generated by using high-speed rotation of air through the bottom of the duct. In a vacuum zone, the air on the liquid surface is sucked into the water through an aerator to fill the vacuum, and the air is pulverized into bubbles by the blades of the aerator, and spirally rises to the water surface. Because the THK system uses a unique technology to simply introduce air into the system in a state of micro-bubbles (not dissolved in water), air compressors, dissolved gas tanks, and circulating water pumps are not required. The air naturally enters the air float through the suction pipe. The system also does not require a releaser, so the THK system has an all-round advantage over the DAF dissolved air flotation system and the monk tube jet hybrid air floatation system. The number of microbubbles is 4 times that of the DAF, and the number of the microfluidic jets is 10 Times. Therefore, under the condition of adding flocculant, the bleed air flotation system can also be used for organic colloid separation of fresh water.
